HORNETS VENOM GT ADDS THREE IN 2024 NBA 2K LEAGUE DRAFT

January 11, 2024 – Hornets Venom GT, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, added three players during tonight’s 2024 NBA 2K League Draft.
With the No. 6 overall pick, Hornets Venom GT selected forward Kevon “Flukelock” Matthias. Flukelock played in 12 5v5 games for Hornets Venom GT last year after joining the team on July 14, 2023. He averaged 11.4 points and 2.3 steals, while shooting 54.2% from the field and 51.2% from beyond the three-point line, helping the team to THE TURN Championship. Prior to joining Hornets Venom GT, Flukelock played for community team Glo Navy Glosquitos during 3v3 play and was a finalist for NBA 2K League Amateur of the Year.
With the 14th pick, Hornets Venom GT selected guard Trey “TreyDollaz” Wright. TreyDollaz played the last two seasons for Lakers Gaming.
With the 17th pick, Hornets Venom GT selected guard Jamaal “Mooch” Gill. Mooch played for Raptors Uprising GC last season.
The three draft picks join center Kingsley “Crown” Braggs and forward Xavier “Big Saint” St. John to comprise Hornets Venom GT’s five-man roster.
