HORNETS VENOM GT ACQUIRES GUARD RYAN “RYAN1OF1” HARRIS AND NO. 9 PICK IN 2024 NBA 2K LEAGUE DRAFT IN THREE-TEAM TRADE

September 25, 2023 – Hornets Venom GT, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today announced that the team has acquired guard Ryan “Ryan1of1” Harris and the No. 9 pick in the 2024 NBA 2K League Draft from Lakers Gaming, as well as a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA 2KL Draft from Raptors Uprising GT, in a three-team trade. In exchange, Hornets Venom GT sends guard Antoine “antoinelove” Times and a 2025 third-round draft pick to Raptors Uprising and the No. 23 pick in the 2024 Draft to Lakers Gaming. Lakers Gaming also receives the No. 3 pick in the 2024 Draft from Raptors Uprising.

The third pick in the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft, Ryan1of1 averaged 21.6 points and 5.8 assists, while shooting 53.0% from the field and 44.9% from beyond the three-point line in 13 games of 5v5 play for Lakers Gaming during the 2023 season. He scored at least 15 points in every contest, tallying eight games of 20 points or more. He scored 30 points or more on three occasions, including a season-high 35 points on June 2 against T-Wolves Gaming.

antoinelove joined Hornets Venom GT as an undrafted player during the Add/Waive Period between the 3v3 and 5v5 portions of the 2023 season, going on to average 24.8 points and 9.6 assists in 5v5 play. He was selected to the NBA 2KL All-Rookie Team and the All-NBA 2KL Second Team and was named a 2023 NBA 2K League All-Star.

 Ryan1of1 joins center Kingsley “Crown” Braggs and forward Xavier “Big Saint” St. John on Hornets Venom GT’s roster. Along with the ninth pick in the 2024 NBA 2K League Draft, the team also holds the No. 16 selection.
