HORNETS VENOM GT ACQUIRE 13^TH PICK IN 2020 NBA 2K LEAGUE DRAFT

Team Trades Expansion Draft Selection William “Strainer” Morales Back To Cavs Legion GC

November 14, 2019 – Hornets Venom GT, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today acquired the 13^th overall pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft and a future second-round draft pick from Cavs Legion GC in exchange for William “Strainer” Morales and a future first-round draft pick.  The team selected Strainer from Cavs Legion GC with the fourth overall pick in last month’s NBA 2K League Expansion Draft.

The trade gives Hornets Venom GT a third first-round pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft.  Along with their own selection, the sixth overall pick, Hornets Venom GT acquired the 18^th overall pick in a trade returning expansion draft selection Moustapha “Mo” Saab to Mavs Gaming.
