Hornets Venom GT Acquires Michael “Swann” Swanegan from Hawks Talon GC in Exchange for Nick “Nick” Clark

June 21, 2022 – Hornets Venom GT, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today acquired forward Michael “Swann” Swanegan from Hawks Talon GC in exchange for forward Nick “Nick” Clark.
Swann was in his second season with Hawks Talon GC after being selected by the team with the 48th overall pick in the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft and being protected for the 2022 season. In 11 5v5 games this season across THE TIPOFF and THE TURN Powered by AT&T, he has averaged 4.4 points on 55.9% shooting from the field, including 43.8% from beyond the three-point line. As a rookie in 2021, Swann averaged 6.4 points, 1.2 steals and 0.9 rebounds, while shooting 58.1% from the field and 44.3% from beyond the three-point line, in 26 games played.
Nick was selected by Hornets Venom GT with the 25th overall pick in the 2022 NBA 2K League Draft. In 10 5v5 games this season, he has averaged 7.1 points, 0.9 steals and 0.7 rebounds.
